How the Monopoly Live Money Wheel Works

Monopoly Live uses a wheel divided into 54 segments. Most of those spaces are marked with the numbers 1, 2, 5 or 10, while the remaining spaces activate Chance, 2 Rolls or 4 Rolls outcomes.

The game’s betting grid presents six selections: 1, 2, 5, 10, 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls. Players can place wagers on one or several selections before the live host begins the spin.

When the wheel stops on a numbered segment, a winning wager is paid according to the corresponding number. The lower-numbered spaces appear more frequently, while the bonus segments occur less often and provide access to the animated Monopoly board.

Chance does not appear as a direct wagering selection. Instead, a Chance result produces an outcome for players already participating in that round.

Chance Cards Add Prizes and Multipliers

When the wheel stops on Chance, the virtual Mr. Monopoly character draws a card. The card can provide an immediate cash prize or reveal a multiplier that remains active for the following spin.

The New Jersey launch follows Monopoly Live’s entry into the United States less than two months earlier.

Evolution announced the U.S. launch on April 16, 2026, beginning with a live stream from its Connecticut casino studio. The supplier said at the time that additional regulated American markets would follow.

Hard Rock Bet’s New Jersey release represents the next confirmed step in that expansion. The game had already operated internationally since 2019 before Evolution introduced it to regulated U.S. online casino players.

Evolution’s announcement described the game as a combination of the Monopoly brand and live casino entertainment, with a live host, Chance segments, multipliers and animated bonus rounds featuring Mr. Monopoly.
