NJ Gaming Report Update, June 2026
New Jersey gaming revenue reached $585.6 million in June as another month of online casino growth offset lower Atlantic City casino win and sports wagering revenue.
New Jersey’s casinos, racetracks and gaming partners generated $585.6 million in total gaming revenue during June 2026, a 0.7% increase from the $581.6 million reported one year earlier.
Internet gaming supplied the month’s growth with $271.0 million in revenue, up 17.5% from June 2025. The increase was enough to offset year-over-year declines in both Atlantic City casino win and sports wagering revenue.
Figures released July 16 by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement also show that total gaming revenue reached $3.52 billion during the first half of 2026, 6.0% ahead of the same six-month period last year.

Internet Gaming Win Reaches $271 Million
Online casino revenue increased from $230.7 million in June 2025 to $271.0 million in June 2026. That $40.3 million gain made internet gaming the only major segment to produce double-digit year-over-year growth during the month.
Internet gaming win reached $1.59 billion through June, up 15.0% from $1.39 billion during the first half of 2025. Online casino revenue finished $13.7 million above Atlantic City’s in-person casino win for the month.
June’s result came in slightly below May’s $276.3 million online gaming record, but it still ranked among the highest monthly internet gaming totals New Jersey has reported.
Atlantic City Casino Win Totals $257.3 Million
New Jersey’s nine Atlantic City Casinos reported $257.3 million in casino win for June, down 0.7% from the $259.0 million recorded in June 2025.
The monthly decline was narrow. Through the first six months of the year, casino win reached approximately $1.41 billion, up 2.3% from the same period in 2025.
In-person casino win remained below internet gaming revenue for the month, but the year-to-date increase shows that Atlantic City’s physical casino market entered the main summer season ahead of last year’s pace.
Borgata Leads Atlantic City’s June Casino Results
Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa led Atlantic City with $72.2 million in June casino win, although its result was 5.9% lower than one year earlier.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City ranked second with $46.2 million, up 0.9%. Ocean Casino Resort followed with $43.5 million, down 0.2% from June 2025.
| Atlantic City Casino | June 2026 Casino Win | Year-Over-Year Change |
|---|---|---|
| Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa | $72.2 million | Down 5.9% |
| Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City | $46.2 million | Up 0.9% |
| Ocean Casino Resort | $43.5 million | Down 0.2% |
Player Winnings Cut Into Sportsbook Revenue
Sports wagering revenue fell to $57.3 million in June, a 37.7% decline from $91.9 million in June 2025. The decrease didn’t reflect lower betting activity because the statewide handle rose 16.0% to $917.2 million.
The Division of Gaming Enforcement attributed the revenue decline primarily to patron winnings tied to NBA Finals and FIFA World Cup games. In practical terms, customers collected a larger share of the money wagered, leaving sportsbooks with a lower hold despite taking more bets.
Sports wagering revenue totaled $513.0 million through June, down 7.1% from $552.0 million during the first half of 2025.
First-Half Gaming Revenue Reaches $3.52 Billion
Combined gaming revenue reached $3.52 billion from January through June, up 6.0% from $3.32 billion during the comparable period last year.
| Gaming Segment | June 2026 | June Change | 2026 Year to Date | YTD Change |

July Has the Ingredients to Outpace June
June included the NBA championship series and the opening stage of the FIFA World Cup. July brought the tournament’s biggest matches, capped by Spain’s 1-0 victory over Argentina in the final at MetLife Stadium.
Atlantic City also entered its busiest part of summer with major casino, sports and entertainment events. The CFFC 157 Featherweight Title Fight brought Cage Fury Fighting Championships to Hard Rock on July 17 as visitors arrived for the weekend.
The Atlantic City Beach Festival and World Cup Final Watch Party filled July 18 and 19 with match broadcasts, music, food vendors and family activities along the shore.
NJ Gaming Report’s July Outlook
More World Cup wagering, peak summer travel and a packed Atlantic City event calendar give July a realistic chance to finish above June. That remains our outlook, not a reported result, until the Division of Gaming Enforcement publishes July’s figures.
New Atlantic City Attractions Add to Summer Traffic
Casino resorts added more reasons to visit beyond gaming during July. The new Caesars Beach Club opened as an oceanfront destination with cabanas, daybeds, coastal food, drinks and live entertainment.
New resort attractions and high-attendance events can support casino floors, restaurants, hotel occupancy and nightlife at the same time. That wider visitor activity will make July’s in-person casino results especially important when the next monthly report arrives.
July’s numbers will also show whether another month of internet gaming growth can combine with summer casino traffic to push New Jersey’s total market beyond June’s $585.6 million result.
